'Old man' Nietfeldt leads state amateur golf

OMAHA - Only Ryan Nietfeldt can refer to himself as the "old man."

The 34-year-old former state champion has a two-stroke lead over a group of very young players after Monday's first round of the 102nd Nebraska Amateur Golf Championship at Happy Hollow Country Club.

Nietfeldt shot a dazzling 4-under-par 67 on the tight, century-old course.
