Spartans' O'Doherty, LSW take titles at East Kick-Off event
The last time Jackie O'Doherty played high school golf, she was learning how to putt on sleet at Norfolk Country Club.
"It was about 36 degrees, sleeting and really cold," said O'Doherty, who won the state Class A title last fall.
The Lincoln East senior started off the way she finished by winning the East Girls Kick-Off Tournament on Thursday at Holmes Golf Course.
